16. Claire and Jamie working as a team at the theater
When it happened: During Outlander Season 4, Episode 8, Jamie learned that Murtagh was on the verge of being arrested. If he was caught, Murtagh would be hanged, so Jamie had to stop him. Meanwhile, a man needed surgery and Claire was the best person around. Fortunately, both situations played together well.
Why it was perfect: It has been a long time since we’ve seen Claire and Jamie truly work as a team. “Wilmington” gave us the chance to see that. Claire didn’t question too much about what Jamie was going to do. She told him to go and she would create a distraction.
And what a distraction she created! We got to see her in her element for a man who simply needed help. Plus, she proved her skills to everyone around.

15. Murtagh and Claire reuniting
When it happened: At the end of Outlander Season 4, Episode 5, Claire got the reunion she needed in the episode. As she took care of things around the outside of the house, she heard the “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” being whistled. There was only one person that would know that in this time.
Why it was perfect: The reunion gave us a beautiful connection to Outlander Season 1. Murtagh and Claire had bonded during “The Search” in a way they never had in the novels. This bond continued with the addition of a song that Murtagh only knew because of this woman in his godson’s life.
