4. Claire fangirls over Washington

George Washington appeared in Outlander earlier than in the books and I simply adore this change. Claire had the chance to fangirl over George, sharing a tidbit that turned out never to be true. After all, Washington never did chop down cherry trees, so he wouldn’t have understood Claire’s reference once bit.

Plus, we got a moment between Claire and Jamie talking about Brianna. After sharing how important Washington will become in America, she mentions the questions Brianna would have for him. Despite her no longer doing American history at Harvard, she certainly would still have an interest in the history of her country.

This was a moment that fans loved, according to TV Time.

3. Brianna and Roger’s reunion

After almost giving up, Roger finally found Brianna and what a reunion it was! There were so many mixed emotions, making this reunion feel real and beautiful. Brianna’s mixture of emotions were the best.

I know how the books say that they believe someone needs to anchor them on each side, but the show hasn’t gone into this. Brianna’s mixture of emotions speaks more of the danger Roger had put himself through trying to find her. She didn’t want him to follow her for her own reasons.

There was a mixture of shock, love, anger, and confusion. Roger following her means that he knew about the letter and she wasn’t sure whether Roger was trying to stop her or just protect her. And then we got Roger’s reaction when Brianna admits why she didn’t tell him the truth about going through the stones.

The reunion was one of fans’ favorites on the TV Time app, especially with Roger telling Brianna that he loved her.
