Outlander Season 4, Episode 8 was fairly split between the Frasers and MacBree’s storylines. Here are the top three Jamie moments from the episode.

Outlander Season 4, Episode 8 was an intense episode. With a storyline most definitely not taken from the books and another that deviated considerably, the episode left many of us guessing what would happen. Split fairly between the Frasers and MacBree, this was an episode that moved all storylines forward in ways we didn’t expect or hoped not to see.

Because of the fair split, I’m going back to just three best moments for the four main characters. Up first is Jamie, who played a huge part in saving the lives of two men.

Here are Jamie’s top three moments from “Wilmington.”

3. The discomfort due to the play

I’m not sure whether Jamie would have enjoyed the play anyway, but the night at the theater was a stressful one. Jamie had just found out that Murtagh was going into an ambush and knew he had to get word out in some way.

For a long time, we got to see the discomfort. He looked around for a way to stall things or create a diversion. Eventually, he found a way and one that would help to prove to everyone that Claire is a skilled surgeon. However, it was still amusing watching him squirm.

While we’ve not all been in the exact same predicament of trying to stop a family member from being captured for a crime with the death penalty, I think we’ve all been in awkward situations like that. It was easy to relate to Jamie’s discomfort.
