3 best Lord John Grey moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 6
2. Remembering Murtagh
While Murtagh may not have liked Lord John Grey, you have to admit that it was good to see that John remembered Murtagh. After all, it was because of John’s kindness that Murtagh got the medical care he needed in Ardsmuir Prison, otherwise, Murtagh would have likely died before reaching the Colonies.
And John didn’t just put on the happiness of seeing Murtagh. He was clearly happy that Murtagh looked well. he was happy to see that an inmate had managed to make a life in the Colonies.
What will be interesting to see is how John reacts when he learns Murtagh is a Regulator. That has to happen, after all.
1. His honesty with Claire
While he did end up apologizing for everything he said, it wasn’t just the fever that led to the honesty between Claire and John. And I’m not just talking about admitting that he could have had Jamie had he wanted to. Maybe that was because of the fever.
No, the honesty that I loved was when talking about Isobel and happiness. He made it clear why he was jealous of Claire and Jamie. It wasn’t that Claire had Jamie but that there was satisfaction on Claire’s face; that she made Jamie happy.
This wasn’t even just about Jamie. John made it clear that he just wanted it with someone and it was so sweet and raw. It takes a lot to be honest like that and I love that it was with Claire that he opened up.
