Jamie took Young Ian to Wilmington and ran into an old face. Here are his best moments from Outlander Season 4, Episode 5.

While there were some Roger moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 5, most of the episode was focused on the past. Jamie took Young Ian into Wilmington to find settlers at Fraser’s Ridge. Instead of settlers, he did run into an old friend and brought us the perfect reunion that we’ve been needing.

Because of the lack of Roger in the episode, I’m bringing the Jamie moments back up to five for this week. Here are the top five moments for Jamie Fraser throughout “Savages.”

5. Taking the candlestick

Let’s be honest, we know what Jamie wants to get made from that candlestick. There’s no way that he would just take something of Ellen’s that meant so much to him when Jocasta gave him it for something small. He wants to get a ring made for Claire to replace the one that was stolen by Bonnet back in the premiere episode.

Of course, he doesn’t want Claire to know. So while her back was turned, he quickly took the candlestick and placed it in his bag. That led to some excellent comedic moments of the silver smith’s wife flirting with Jamie, proving he still has it. We can’t blame her for trying, can we?
