1. Wanting to apologize to/make up with Roger

At the end of the conversation, there’s some silence. Just as Brianna is about to say something, Roger cuts in and ends it off. Because of everything that has happened, Brianna understandably but wrongfully assumes that Roger is making it clear there are no more feelings for her.

If only she’d gotten the courage to say what she was going to. It was clear that she wanted to apologize for her part in the argument. That could have opened to Roger apologizing for his part (because I do believe both were right and wrong at the same time) and they could have made up.

Even if Brianna didn’t want to apologize and make up, she could have at least make it clear she cared. This could have been a chance to really make it clear to Roger how much she appreciated him finding all this out for her. Yes, she said it once but there was far more that could have been said between them.

In the end, the way Roger wrapped up the conversation made Brianna think it was completely over. It’s not surprising she never told him she was going through the stones.
