Caitriona Balfe appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about Outlander Season 4 and Ford vs. Ferrari. Take a look at everything that went down.
As part of promo for Outlander Season 4, the stars are doing their rounds on various TV shows. Caitriona Balfe was the first, with a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was only a 5-minute slot but enough to get a little tease of what’s to come.
Those of us who have been following the press for a while will already know the details of the fourth season. Balfe shared about the filming locations over the years vs. the locations they were actually meant to be in. While many know that South Africa was used for Jamaica, did you know that Prague was used for France?

However, Caitriona Balfe did share a little bit of information about her name. Did you know her name should have an accent, a síneadh fada, over the second ‘i’ (like the one in the Gaelic term. Balfe joked that she removed the fada herself because she couldn’t find it on a keyboard, but it is possible she removed it because nobody else used it when writing her name.
She also shared a little about the origins of Halloween, sharing what it was like growing up and the costumes she used. This was all at the start of this first video from the interview.
Towards the end, there was a snippet about working on Ford vs. Ferrari, which is the movie she’s in with Christian Bale and Matt Damon. It sounds like she’s finished filming that now. She did bring a special gift to Jimmy Kimmel, and you’ll need to watch the video to find what she stole.
