#2. Claire isn’t prepared to make too many friends

Once again, Claire makes her opinions known. Matt B. Roberts previously shared that Claire would make her opinions against slavery known. It looks like it isn’t going to take too long for that to happen.

The Outlander Season 4 trailer will likely only consist of scenes from the first episode or two. After all, there’s no way the show would want to give away the final episodes. So, we can expect the scene between Claire and Jocasta to be in the premiere episode. That makes sense since it’s clear Brianna is getting measured for a dress for a ball.

Claire shares her opinions about slavery, how she doesn’t believe people should be kept as property. While Phaedre has a look of uncertainty and a little worry, Jocasta doesn’t really bat an eyelid. Maybe she’s heard of how feisty and opinionate her niece-in-law is. No doubt, Colum or Dougal would have likely written about her.

If Jocasta hasn’t heard, she’ll have likely quickly gained an opinion while talking or maybe while eavesdropping on Claire and Jamie. Plus, Jocasta is a MacKenzie. She’ll know how to keep her emotions close to her chest and ensure she has a good poker face.

Jocasta may just respect Claire more for her fiery personality. There are similarities between them. Although, Jocasta will also clearly be happy when Claire heads off to Fraser’s Ridge with Jamie!
