About the character: Tobias Menzies became the villain for Kate Beckinsale to take down. Marius is the leader of the Lycans after the decimation of Selene and various purges. He manages to control the army while also gaining more power through the injection of hybrid blood.

Marius is an extremely smart and survivalist character. He will do what it takes to gain and keep power, including seeking out a way to make his blood unique permanently. He became more than any Lycan leader had ever been before and that made him extremely dangerous.

Why it deserves a spot: When you want to see Menzies in a dark and dangerous role, there’s no other movie to watch than Underworld: Blood Wars. The most recent movie in the Underworld franchise, he is the one to keep a very close eye on. His inventive nature helps him rise to power.

You can’t see Tobias Menzies in this movie. He’s nothing like Black Jack or Frank Randall. As I’ve mentioned with other roles, he is a chameleon when it comes to acting.

He’s also such a powerful evil character. There’s a part of you that wants to see him succeed because it is Tobias, but you know that just can’t happen. What is it with Tobias and making you hate to love evil characters?
