1. Claire standing up to the men

Okay, there were times that I got frustrated with her fighting back. But then I had to put myself in her shoes. She had fallen through time. Her logical mind didn’t want to believe that, but it was the case. As she tried to fight against the thought, she also tried to get back to the stones and back to Frank.

However, Claire didn’t change who she was. Dougal and others comment on her language, but it’s not just that. Claire routinely stood up to the men, whether they were a certain captain of the Dragoons or these Scottish Highlanders who clearly didn’t trust her.

We got to see the fiery personality, which is something that never disappears. There were moments of disdain and distrust on her end, but she still offered help when they needed it. Jamie was her patient and despite it all, she was going to make sure he was looked after. Even if that meant ordering the other men about.

Next. Would Claire and Frank's marriage have survived without the stones?. dark
