We’re at the end. Over the last few weeks, I’ve recapped and reassessed my thoughts on Outlander Season 3. This is a look at the finale, Eye of the Storm.

Over the last 12 weeks, I’ve looked back over Outlander Season 3, recapping episodes that weren’t on Claire and Jamie yet and reassessing my thoughts on them. The last couple of weeks have been more of a reassessment, looking at the opinions that have changed, those that remain the same, and whether I still view the episode as I did.

Now we’re onto the finale, titled “Eye of the Storm.” For those who need a refresher or haven’t checked it yet, you can read my recap of Outlander Season 3, Episode 13. Otherwise, we’re jumping straight in.

Overall, my opinions on the episode haven’t changed. The bits I like I still love. The bits I didn’t like, well, they’ve sort of grown on me but there are still elements that I just roll my eyes at. I’ve gotten used to do that with any TV show now.

Here’s a look at what I still love and what I’ve changed my mind on, with my reasons. Sometimes watching something a second time or revisiting after hearing what the writers and showrunners have to say is a helpful way to understand the reasoning a little bitter.
