Jamie Fraser is the King of Men. The Outlander love story is seen as a fairy tale, with many women and men fearing they’ll never find someone like Jamie. However, Caitriona Balfe doesn’t believe that’s true.
Starz shared a tweet about Outlander and Jamie’s love. Once again, it looks like the marketing department has missed the mark slightly when one person joked that there is no love like Jamie’s and they would need to adopt a dog instead.
Caitriona Balfe quickly came to the defense of all those who know that’s not the case. After all, the “Jamie” moments really are evident throughout real life. Using the hashtag #ItstheLittleThings, she made a point of sharing just the type of little things that give you a man like Jamie.

It’s certainly something that fans have said before. Many in Facebook groups talk about their own Jamies. They share the stories of how they met and how much these men (and women) become their soulmates.

Just recently, there was the story from Vida‘s creator about finding her own Jamie. Outlander‘s fairy tale isn’t actually a fairy tale. Well, apart from the time travel part of it. There is a Jamie-like Prince Charming out there for everyone.
On Twitter, Outlander fans replied to Balfe’s comments in support for her thoughts. They shared their stories of the things their husbands and wives have done for them. Okay, mainly the husbands. They’ve shared of the stories of making PB&J sandwiches for three months during pregnancy, learning to cook because they were too ill, and just making cups of coffee and tea on a morning.
It’s clear that Starz’s marketing team was trying to make a joke. Unfortunately, it fell flat because there are people out there fearing there isn’t a man or woman like Jamie and Claire. But it really is all in the small things.
