Sam Heughan celebrates his 38th birthday on April 30 and the Outlander fans are certainly celebrating with him in style.
Outlander‘s own Jamie Fraser turns 38 today. Sam Heughan may be stuck on a film set and recovering from the Stirling Marathon this weekend (where he got a personal best), but he will also likely be looking forward to a wee dram later.
Co-star Caitriona Balfe has led the charge in the celebratory tweets, having some fun that Heughan is sure to repay later this year. The actress has had fun creating a number of images to show that there’s still fun on the set so there’s no need to worry about this relationship!
If that wasn’t enough, she also wants to make sure he feels like a princess all day. Taking a photo of herself from “The Wedding,” she decided to doll up her co-star in style.

She wasn’t the only one who opted to have a little fun with Photoshop. Who do you think wears it better?

Steven Cree, best known as Outlander‘s Ian Murray, has also jumped in on the celebrations. He seems to be struggling to add up the dates right now, but clearly has nothing but love for the King of Men and Marathons.
Maril Davis couldn’t help but share a GIF. It seems everyone is poking fun at his “old age.”
Some of his co-stars and many fans opted for some more serious tweets to wish him a happy birthday. Lauren Lyle kept it stylish, while Outlander Kat on Twitter created a meme in celebration.

Outlander Kat also wants to encourage people to get #HappyBirthdaySamHeughan trending at 11am PT. That’s 2pm ET for those on this side of the coast and you’ll want to check it for your area to help.
