Outlander masterclass on offer at BAFTA Scotland event in Glasgow

Want to know the secrets behind Outlander and learn what it’s like to be one of the crew members? Now you can at an Outlander masterclass at Guru Live in April.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to be part of the Outlander set, you want to book your tickets for BAFTA Scotland’s Guru Live 2018. It’s the second year the event is running, after the success of 2017’s event. You can book your tickets now and get in on the masterclass.

There isn’t much detail about the masterclass, but it will involve some of the people behind the hit TV show, starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. The crew will give an insight into a day in their life, while sharing what it takes to create a hit TV show. It also looks like there will be some tips on breaking into this competitive industry.

The event is held in Glasgow on April 28. You’ll need a ticket and it’s an event for over 18s only. There is an after party, involving alcohol.

Outlander isn’t the only show in attendance. BAFTA Scotland has a range of names in Scottish film, TV and more. This is a chance to put Scotland on the stage and show exactly what it has to offer. There are other events for Wales and England later in the year. There are masterclasses and panels throughout the day, covering a range of shows, movies, and games, including a masterclass on directing your first hour and game design.
