Several of the cast and crew of Outlander have taken a break from filming Season 4 to have some fun with the snow in Scotland.

Production on the next season of Outlander is currently underway in Scotland. At the same time, the area is dealing with some very heavy snow, some of the worst seen in many years. But that’s not going to stop the Outlander cast and crew from doing all they can to enjoy it!

Over at CarterMatt, several images have been made available of the Outlander bunch enjoying the snow. The pictures are from the Instagram accounts of various personalities associated with the show. So while many social media posts from others may be complaining about the snowy weather, the Outlander crew is embracing it.

In the photos, you can take a look at how Cesar Domboy made a rather interesting snowman. He even adds an extra humorous touch by quoting Frozen in his caption. Sam Heughan posted a photo of himself all bundled up, having gone out for a run despite the frigid weather. Executive producer Matthew B. Roberts shared a photo giving fans a good look at just how much snow has fallen over there. Finally, Caitriona Balfe posted a video of the snow, giving us our best look at it of them all.

The snow isn’t expected to stall Outlander production. According to CarterMatt, it would take a “Biblical event” to do that, and the show is undergoing filming. Ultimately, the cast and crew will adapt, and though they may need to shuffle a few filming days around, we should still be (hopefully) getting our next season by the fall.

Next: Happy 38th birthday, Steven Cree!

There’s still no word yet officially on when Season 4 of Outlander will premiere. What are you hoping to see when the show comes back? Tell us about it in the comments below.
