Steven Cree turns 38 today and what better way to celebrate than looking at his upcoming project, The Titan.
Steven Cree is best known in the Outlander fandom as Ian Murray. Best friend to Jamie Fraser and husband of Jenny Fraser Murray, he plays an integral part of the lives of the main characters in both book and show. Initially as the man to help Jamie mature into the kind-hearted soul he is when Claire meets him, Ian also helped hide him from the Redcoats after Culloden and (in the TV series) killed a man to save Jamie’s life.
Feb. 28, 2018 marks his 38th birthday and it’s definitely time to celebrate. The best way is to look at the most recent project he has coming up, The Titan. He’s not going to let you forget that he’s in it.
The Titan stars Sam Worthington and Taylor Schilling, and is a thrilling tale of man’s attempt to live on Titan. As Earth starts to fail, researchers believe they have found a way to help humans live on the largest of Saturn’s moons. However, it is soon clear that the injections Worthington’s Rick Janssen aren’t just helping to adapt him inside but are turning him into something new to survive Titan.
Steven Cree plays Major Timothy Pike. It’s not clear just how integral he will be to the storyline or whether he will be one of the test subjects. However, Cree is extremely excited about the project, and rightfully so. The trailer certainly creates suspense.
