Outlander fans can hear a different style of music from Bear McCreary

Bear McCreary is best known by Outlander fans for the theme song, but he has a movie with his compositions out now.

While many Outlander fans will know Bear McCreary for his wonderful works on their favorite show, that’s not all he’s known for. But you knew that, right? His talent is astounding and he deserves to be hired for every single project going. If you’re looking for more of his music, his latest project was released after Super Bowl 52.

McCreary took to Twitter during the game, after a very special trailer: the The Cloverfield Paradox trailer. His music is featured throughout the movie, but it was one of those top secret projects he was working on. The movie, which is the third installment in the franchise, dropped on Netflix straight after Super Bowl 52, after many fans questioned whether the franchise was dead in the water.

The soundtrack for the movie will be released shortly, although no exact date has been given. Claire and Jamie will share an update, as soon as it’s available.

This may not be a movie for all Outlander fans. It’s a far cry from the time travelling love story of Jamie and Claire Fraser. However, if you loved the previous two Cloverfield movies, you will likely want to give it a watch! Directed by Julius Onah and produced by J.J. Abrams, the movie is a prequel to the first installment of the franchise. Due to a global energy crisis, the Cloverfield Station is set up to protect the Shepherd particle accelerator in hope that it will provide unlimited energy throughout Earth. However, there is the risk that the program will create a paradox, opening portals to other dimensions.
