Christmas is here and we’re going to celebrate it like it’s 1968.
Happy Christmas, everyone! It’s time to celebrate it in style and that means a reminder of that beautiful Christmas episode in Outlander season 3. While the change to the book for Claire’s departure wasn’t the best change of all, it did give fans the beautiful Christmas memories for Claire, Brianna and Roger.
To celebrate it Claire and Jamie way, we’re looking at some of the beautiful, funny, and awesome Outlander GIFs. They’re the ways the majority of people felt throughout the season 3.
The way we all feel when Jamie is on screen
Lord John’s expressions towards Jamie are priceless, but the best is certainly the shock when Jamie appears at the Governor’s Ball. There’s this mixture of surprise, awe, and love for the man Lord John hasn’t seen in years.
Really, it’s the way we all feel whenever Jamie is on screen, right? Well, it’s certainly the way many of the women watching it feel.
The way everyone felt in First Wife
Book fans knew exactly what was coming in “First Wife.” They knew all about the Laoghaire reveal, but not how it would play out. After all, the books’ storylines had changed when it came to Laoghaire, Claire, the witch trial, and Jamie.
Claire did have an excellent response in Jamie’s line about being friendly. No it certainly did not mean marriage, regardless of how her daughters made him feel at Hogmanay.
The way everyone felt about Geillis
While Geillies’ reveal was interestingly done, she didn’t half go on about plans and wishes. Young Ian had the perfect response; one that we all felt. The best thing was the response was in character for Young Ian; at least the character that had been set up in the series.
It was funny, off the cuff, and followed suit with his sarcastic comment to Jamie in the finale. It’s now a GIF everyone can use when they just want someone to just stop talking!
The way everyone felt with all the changes
There were so many changes from “Voyager” in Outlander season 3, it wasn’t clear if fans would see all the returning faces. Geillis said the line we all thought, especially when it came to her.
It’s also a question fans have for season 4. Will we get to see Murtagh return? There’s hope that we’ll see his face again.
The way everyone feels about Droughtlander
Honestly, Droughtlander is the worst part of the show. Whether you love or hate the changes, that feeling of no more episodes is the worst. At least there won’t be such a long Droughtlander this time as there was last. On top of that, the showrunners are trying to avoid another long one between seasons 4 and 5.
