Why Brianna and Roger Will NOT be in ‘Outlander’ Season 2

1. Brianna and Roger have not yet been cast (at the time of this article, to our knowledge…)

The first piece of evidence is the most obvious. Where in the world is Brianna and Roger Mac? At the time I’m writing this, neither have been cast (that we know of). Although audition tapes have “leaked” and we’ve all read 105,672 “Brianna Dream Cast” articles (including ours!), we still don’t have Bri or Roger.

Why?

Some of you may be holding on to hope that this just means Brianna and Roger’s filming obligations will be taken care of later. They will go back and film their scenes after the castings have been solidified… While that may be true, and is certainly a viable explanation, we’ve also heard rumors that there will NOT be a ridiculous “mid-season” (my ass) break during Season 2. If that’s true, where will the extra production time come from? Ron Moore’s ass? Probably not. And I’m guessing they won’t need the extra time because Roger and Brianna won’t be major players until Season 3.

Still, they could maybe get the filming time and post-production time squeezed in before the premiere (rumored for March/ April 2016 to coincide with the anniversary of the Battle of Culloden), but I’m not convinced.

Still unsure? Read on.
