When Claire tries a daring escape during the MacKenzie clan gathering, Jamie is outed and must pledge his loyalty to Collum before the entire clan. That is a problem, and the explanation is lengthy so just take my word for it, for now. In this clip, we see him readying himself for what will either be a great plan or a stupid plan that will ruin whatever he has going for him at Castle Leoch. And he says the Fraser clan motto.
