Dream Casting Brianna Randall of Outlander

The highly anticipated casting call for Brianna Randall for Outlanders season 2 has finally occurred. As reported by TVLine, she would be a considered a season regular, who should be at least 5’8 and have an “earthy and grounded and not girly” quality but with “the inexperience and vulnerability.” She must have some resemblance of Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, who will play her parents. The actor does not necessarily need to be a natural red-head to get the part, but must be willing to dye it red for the foreseeable future.

You can ask a hundred Outlander fans who they want to play Brianna, and you would get a hundred different answers. Most likely we are all going to be wrong. I have a feeling the actor selected will not be known to us. The production company has no problems finding little-known actors with huge talent and turning them into overnight superstars.
