#5: The Costumes

Perhaps one of the most fascinating things about the show has been putting images behind the garments of the characters. They are explained, sometimes in great detail, in the books but, as your mind is wont to do, you begin to draw your own conclusions about details while reading. My mind painted different pictures about the outfits, and even though my idea of what the dresses looked like were generally the same as the end product (from the TV show) there were same major differences.

I’ve loved being able to go through the TV show (On my 3rd watch-through so far) and pick apart the intricate details of the costumes. I’ve also been following the costumer Terry Dresbach very closely, and have enjoyed getting snippets from her as the costumes for season 2 have come along.
