#6: The Characters

AND the actors who play them. I haven’t been disappointed with a single actor cast on the show yet. It’s hard to believe, considering I think I may *actually* be in love with several of the characters from my time with them in the novels. I’m considering myself either love-drunk with the show, and can’t tell when a casting is bad, or there truly aren’t any bad castings.

Either way, I’m happy.

These characters have been through so much. Heartache and heartbreak and love and loss and war and sorrow… I’ve felt all of those things with them, and would over and over and over again. I plan to, in fact, go back through the books again later this year, and reread book 2 along with season 2 of the TV show.

It’s hard to explain, and if you’re not a book nerd like me, maybe you don’t get it, but I would be willing to bet that most of you get it.

You just… love the characters. You love the heroes and you love to hate the villains, and your life would be incomplete without them.
