Kate lives in England with her father, who is in need of her help after suffering a motorbike accident. He would love to spend his time alone, and Mae has found that is the way to live as well. That is until her best friend signs her up for 12 Christmas-themed dates without her even knowing about it.
Rather than let the opportunity pass her by, Kate decides to give the experiment a chance. Along the way, she meets a few men who may or may not be the perfect match for her. How will they react when they learn Kate didn’t choose to sign up for the dates, though? Or will she be honest about that from the start?
This is the first time Hallmark has brought a rom-com series like this, and it’s going to be a great test to see if it will happen again. Honestly, sometimes a limited series is just right to tell the full story and not rush the romance, and I get the feeling that 12 Dates ‘Til Christmas will benefit from the longer form of storytelling.
