Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
I don’t see much in the way of foreshadowing here. This is a plot point to get Bree to William to talk to him. After all, William needs someone who he can trust, and he doesn’t really have a reason to distrust Bree right now. I think he would understand that she couldn’t just come out and say who he was.
It’s hard when I’ve only read this book once before. I don’t have as many of the more intricate storylines committed to memory, so it’s harder to see any foreshadowing.
Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter
I could somewhat see this chapter being used in the TV series. I would love to see a conversation between Bree and William once William finds out the truth about who his dad is. The two have so much in common when it comes to that. I think Bree is the best person to help William figure things out.
However, there is so much else going on. It’s hard to tell if something like this will be included. We need some smaller moments, but will this one be one of them included?
