Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

One thing that does stand out for me is how Jamie tells Cunningham to call him Colonel Fraser instead of General. Wouldn’t Jamie want to be known as a higher rank? I think this is a sign that Jamie didn’t want the position of General in the first place, but he did stand for his men as a Colonel. It’s important for Cunningham to know how Jamie will protect his men.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

It’s hard to say if this chapter will be used in Outlander Season 8 or not. I don’t think there’s time to bring the Cunningham storyline into it all. There may be other ways to manage what could happen in the future.

I just don’t remember how deep the Cunningham storyline gets. I can’t remember just how he connects to the overall story, so it’s hard to say if this is important enough to show. We don’t get a lot of the services that happen in the books—I would have loved the snake being released—so I don’t see this one happening.
