Outlander is full of historical references and events. It’s time to delve into more of real history during Droughtlander with Ridiculous History.

One of the things that draws some readers and viewers to Outlander is the history. Scotland has a lot of history. If this is the thing you’ve fallen in love with in the series, especially some of the historical events and people from around the world, then you’ll want to turn to more history-related projects to get through Droughtlander.

While some history is dark, some history is completely ridiculous. Ridiculous History is a podcast that delves into the absurdities of history.

You can listen to the podcast on all your favorite platforms, but why is it something to listen to during Droughtlander?

Ridiculous History for Outlander fans

The podcast series focuses on all the surprising elements from around the world. Some of these absurdities are about the weird things people have done, such as the Duke of Portland building tunnels to avoid people. Then there are the strange theories people have had, such as telepathic snails to replace telegraphs!

There is an episode for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you love this history of a particular country or you want to learn as much as possible about the world. Some of these people are those you’ll have never heard of, giving you something new to learn as you make your way through Droughtlander.

One of the great things is the amount of episodes you can work through. There are more than 400 episodes, and they are all about an hour long. Episods are released on a regular basis, too! You won’t be stuck for something to listen to as you get through this extended Droughtlander. Now you just need to decide where to start.

Ridiculous History is available on iHeartRadio, iTunes, Spotify, and all the places you get your podcasts.
