2. Honesty and respect between them

Honesty is essential in any relationship. At the same time, so is respect. Both can help any relationship conquer so much. After all, it’s the lies and deceit that bring the mistrust.

So, something that we need to see is some honesty between them. This means no more keeping newspaper reports a secret (although Roger was going to tell Bree but she left before he could)!

It does look like we’ll get this based on the Season 5 promo. Brianna and Roger get the chance to talk about going back through the stones. Roger doesn’t want to remain in the past, and you can’t really blame him. However, the past is where their family is. It’s a discussion they need to have while respecting each other’s wishes.

1. Some happy moments

Honestly, what we haven’t been able to see if the two just happy. There’s always something that tears them apart. The show hasn’t given the two the chance to relish in each other’s company the way that Claire and Jamie had that chance in the very first season.

So, can the two just have some happy moments? Give other characters the drama for a few episodes here and there. Yes, we know that there is a major moment coming for Roger. We know that the two aren’t always going to see eye to eye. But they deserve some sort of happiness now and then!
