#WCW: Why Jenny in Outlander Season 1 is someone to look up to
She stood up for what she believed was right
No matter what was going on, Outlander Season 1’s Jenny would stand up for what she believed was right. That doesn’t mean she was always right, but she had her opinions and convictions and she stood by them.

Whatever was going on around her, she wouldn’t back down. Stubbornness is often viewed as a negative trait–something all Frasers are cursed with it seems–but it can be a positive one. After all, when it comes to finding her brother or when it comes to protecting her family, she will always prove that she can do it, despite being a woman.
Another instance was taking in Rabbie when he was being beaten by his father. She knew what was right for the boy and opened her home to him, despite it possibly not being the best idea financially at the time.
This trait sometimes backfired on her or the people around her. There were times later that she would land into some hot water or do the right thing for the wrong reasons, but this isn’t about the later Jenny. It’s about Season 1 Jenny and in this season, it’s positive.
